The concept was designed as a commemorative jersey to celebrate 20 years of friendship and 5-aside football history shared between best friends from Bangalore.
"Radical, funny & outrageous." These are the exact words which Ettore Sottsass & his group of designers centred their thinking around when conceptualising the profound 'Memphis Design movement' as a response to the accepted minimal geometric design of the 1970s.

The similarity between the Memphis Design Elements and "Garden," a 5-aside football pitch in downtown Bangalore is uncanny on many levels. These core adjectives that described the beginning of the famous design movement also aptly describes the friendship and playing style of the Garden Boys in their home environment.
